Accessibility
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Keystead Vault (a product of ScorpEase LLC) is committed to making our website and app usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technology such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification.
Our standard
We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the widely recognized benchmark for accessible web software. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time checkbox, and we improve the product as we find and fix issues.
Where we are today
We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: most of the app meets the standard, and we are actively working on the areas that don't yet. Steps already in place include:
- A clear, consistent page structure with real headings and a defined page language.
- Strong color contrast for body text and primary interface elements.
- Descriptive text for buttons and links, and forms built from standard, labeled fields.
- Content that reflows and remains usable on small screens and at increased zoom.
We know some areas still need work — including keyboard operation of certain custom controls, focus visibility in a few places, programmatic labels on some form fields, dialog semantics in modals, and a small number of status colors. These are on our active remediation list, and the "report a problem" path below is the fastest way to make sure something that affects you is prioritized.
Using the app with assistive technology
If any part of Keystead Vault is difficult to use with your assistive technology, we want to help you get what you need — including providing your information or completing an action another way. While your subscription is active you can export your entire vault as a PDF or a full backup — and either way, we're glad to help you get your information another way.
Email support@keysteadvault.com with “Accessibility” in the subject. It helps if you can tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 business days and will work with you on a fix or an alternative way to get it done.
Feedback and enforcement
Your feedback genuinely helps us improve, and we welcome it even when it isn't a formal complaint. If you've contacted us about an accessibility barrier and aren't satisfied with our response, please let us know so we can escalate it internally.
This statement describes our current accessibility efforts and is not a warranty or a legal representation of full conformance. It will be updated as our work continues.
